A Tribute to Jonathan Jordan
It is with great sadness that I tell
you Jonathan Jordan passed away last
week after a long illness. We
have lost a great judge, a dedicated
animal lover and a dear friend.
Jonathan was a kind and gentle man –
always willing to help or explain
anything to a newcomer or to the
rest of us who have been around
forever. I learned a lot from
Jonathan and I appreciated the time
he spent to teach us. He was
patient, deliberate and totally
honest in his quest to find the
winner when he was judging.
He loved lure coursing and the
dogs. Jonathan always did his
best when he was judging and I only
hope that we will see more judges
who will emulate his love and
dedication to this wonderful sport.
I for one will miss him greatly as
I know so many of you will. So
Eileen M Flanagan
